1. What you’re buying
A static website with the number of pages you order, designed to your brand, and any add-ons you choose. Shops, payments, logins, bookings and custom databases aren’t part of Sebenza Static; we quote those separately.
2. Prices and payment
R1,750 a page. From five pages the pages are discounted: 10% off at 5 pages, and 2.5% more off for every page after that (12.5% at 6, 15% at 7, and so on), up to 50%. Add-ons are at the prices shown when you order, and aren’t discounted. Prices are in South African rand, and payments are processed by Stitch.
- Your site: paid in full when you order, with any add-ons.
- Hosting: your first year is paid when your site is ready to go live.
3. We start straight away
When you order, you ask us to start on your site at once, and we do: your brief opens as soon as you’ve paid.
4. What you send us
Your logo, your brand style, the words for every page, and your photos (or the stock image pack). Your draft is ready a week after we receive your brief. If your logo or some of your words aren’t ready, we build the draft without them and you add them during the review.
If you ask us to plan your site on the order page, an AI service reads what you share (your current website, a document or your notes) to suggest your pages and extras. The suggestion is a starting point: you choose what you order.
5. Your draft and changes
We send you a link to your draft. You can approve it or ask for changes. One round of changes is included; more changes are R800 an hour, and we tell you what they’ll cost before we start.
6. Approval
If you haven’t approved the draft or asked for changes within 7 days of us sending it, the draft counts as approved, and your first year of hosting becomes due. We remind you before then.
7. Going live
Your site goes live once your first year of hosting is paid. If you already have a domain, you or your provider point it to us with the settings we send you.
8. Hosting
Hosting is R3,000 a year, paid a year ahead from the day your site goes live. There are no monthly debit orders. We send a renewal link 30 days before each year ends. If a renewal isn’t paid, we may take the site offline until it is.
9. Cancelling
If you cancel within 24 hours of paying for your site, we refund half of what you paid. After 24 hours, what you paid for your site isn’t refundable.
10. Your website
Your content stays yours. Once your site is paid for, the website we designed for you is yours too.
11. Not included
Domain registration and renewals, ad spend, and paid software or services from other companies.
